If you are like me, you are not afraid of trying something new.

Getting started is difficult but beginning is half the battle, and you are further along than most people if you’ve already started. Many people talk about doing things but never get started because they are perfectionists and end up talking themselves out of starting.

I’ve been in the process of writing a book for two years now and seeking help with beta readers and editing.

But today, I saw this gentle reminder and it encouraged me.

Putting our ego aside can be hard! If you are an aspiring writer, the editing process can be rough. The feedback, lack of feedback, the critique and your own self sabotage.

In my process of growing, sharing and showing up I have to remind myself of my “Why”.

I’m going to keep pushing forward because I believe in finishing what I start and uplifting others along the way. It’s just part of who I am, so keep your spirits high!
