We’ve been discussing regrets that we shouldn’t have, but still do. Can you relate?
Fear of never fulfilling God’s purpose and plans for our lives. Fear of lack (insufficient time, resources, people, etc). Overplanning: Trying to assess and address every detail that may or may not even happen before it happens.
Most of us, if we’re honest, have had the best intentions but haven’t known what to do with them because of the things we tell ourselves. The Lord calls us to rest in the finished work of the cross and to trust His leading. However, resting and not worrying does not mean doing nothing.
Ladies, we need one another. Today, the Lord reminded me of the value of friendship. Women used to talk, pray together, and be able to trust one another with their most sacred emotions. Why did that stop? I used to have routine fellowship through prayer with others, but there are seasons where that doesn’t occur as much. Sometimes, I have the blessing of friends I can process life with, and other times, I don’t. We always have the Holy Spirit, and he is our first go-to. However, I believe that the Lord wants us to be interdependent, to help each other grow, and to love and care for each other and lift things in prayer and declare by faith His promises.
Today, whatever God puts before us, there is enough grace for the things we have to accomplish and the people in our lives. We need to tend to the dreams that we are walking out with God’s purpose in mind knowing and loving God and others, whatever we need He will provide.
Matthew 6:8, 33-34 says, “8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him., 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AS WELL. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Blessings, Penny
