Courage is a decision we make every day.
When I discovered my love for journaling around 2016, it became an outlet for those daily choices. That same year, an intuition and quiet dream took shape that visualized a simple call to action: Take Courage, and a reminder that I was never alone.
In a brief word-origin search, I learned that the Latin root of courage is cor, meaning heart.
That truth has stayed with me.
If I were to offer one piece of advice for the year ahead, it would be this: Take heart.
Begin each day by choosing at least one thing that draws you closer to speaking from the heart and living authentically in your convictions.
But God…Your Word is a consuming fire that can take that scriptures and ignite our thoughts, and transform our emotions, and set our hearts ablaze for you. It can turn chaos into prayer, fear into surrender, and create compassion and love for what tries to divide or steal our attention.
Courage isn’t abstract. It’s a daily, heart-led choice to live authentically in your conviction.
