My husband and I have been happily married for over 27 years and together for over 36 years. In 2005, we decided to move from New Jersey to Arizona, and this place has felt like home. We are deeply grateful for the vibrant local community that surrounds us. While we don’t have children of our own, we hold a special place in our hearts for all of our nieces, nephews, and often families with children from friends I’ve made along the way.

When she was just a baby, one of my nieces couldn’t pronounce my name, Stephanie, correctly. Instead, she affectionately called me Penny. I loved the nickname so much that I adopted Penny as my pen name.

Who am I? I am a person in progress (under construction) wanting to embody the compassion and love of God as an overflow to the world around me. Some days I do this well, and others I’m just grateful for the Lord’s mercy. The Word of God holds a special place in my heart, as do the people He has placed in my life. People have remarked, “I want what you have inside.” However, I attribute everything good in me to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, who deserves all the glory. At other times, people have corrected me for being too pushy, aggressive, interrupting, or too deep.

We are all valued and uniquely loved by God. I am continually learning to embrace the love God has for me and others and acknowledge His presence, Christ within me, and draw from personal experiences, both natural and spiritual, to illustrate how I follow and stay connected to the source of life, Jesus. Despite lacking significant academic achievements or extensive writing experience, my heart overflows with God’s love for every person I encounter. I am a relator, passionate about sharing what God is teaching me. Learning when to share and when to only listen. His goodness is too great to keep to myself. Solely through Christ Jesus, we possess unwavering dedication, relentless determination, and steadfast commitment (treasure in Heaven). My enthusiasm stems from recognizing and honoring God’s divine image and likeness in every individual. God said it, and I believe it.

I sincerely hope you have chosen to follow Jesus. I am grateful you joined me on this transformative journey of abundant life in Christ Jesus. With the body of Christ, especially your local family and church, let’s discover the true meaning of life and experience the boundless love and blessings accompanying it. Whether circumstances change or not, Jesus is enough, and so are you!
